My Travel Plan

I have an itch to go and travel at the moment and I cannot wait until my exams are over so I can fulfill my wants. There are a few places within the UK I am desperate to visit or return to and I'm hoping I can cross them all off my list this year.

Stratford is my favourite place in the entire country (besides my house) and I could quite happily live there. It is so picturesque and quaint and has a really relaxing atmosphere and the best sweet shop ever. I've been a few times, but there are still things I wish to see and do.

Manchester is somewhere high on my list, I would like to go to the Trafford centre as well as explore the sights and sounds. It's much bigger than Nottingham so I would like to immerse myself in a bigger city.

Bath is another place I am keen to go to. I would love to see the Roman baths and explore all the culture and history it has to offer.

Glasgow or Edinburgh are other possibilities. I've been looking at university open days and they are definitely places I want to check out, so why not visit ay?

Of course there are other places I want to go back to. e.g Devon, London, Birmingham, but they are just a few places I have never been to, as of yet, or have had very little experience of.

Where do you want to go and visit? I hope you enjoyed reading,

Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer.

I'm a huge advocate for the Nars Creamy Radiant Concealer and after hearing that Urban Decay's release is even better I had to give it a try. I have the shade light warm and it is the such a good match,

I've been using it for a few weeks and have to say it is pretty close to Nars. It is somewhat creamier and easier to blend and seriously packs a punch with coverage. It isn't really thick, nor is it very thin in consistency. It is is brightening under the eyes, but also conceals blemishes very well. It isn't drying through the day which is something I really look for in a concealer. A little goes along way with this and it is perfect for disguising my tired eyes. The one thing that could be improved is the amount that comes out on the applicator. So much comes out that I could conceal my entire face. Apart from that, I absolutely love it.

Have you tried it? I hope you enjoyed reading,

MAC Fix +

I've never really been interested in setting sprays or such products, however my sister bought me MAC Fix + for Christmas and I've been using it religiously ever since.

I find it isn't too 'wet' and makes my makeup last that little bit longer throughout the day. It is really refreshing and ensures that no makeup clings to the dry patches on my face.

I also enjoy using it to make eyeshadows that little more pigmented and intense and find it is perfect for slightly dampening my brush/beauty blender.

Have you used it before? I hope you enjoyed reading,

Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit.

I have been lusting over this palette for a long time after seeing it used in so many tutorials on YouTube. I picked up the shade 'light-medium' and it is perfect.

There are three lighter shades and three contour/bronze shades and I can tell I will get good use out of them all. Sand is a lovely highlight and banana is a brilliant under eye powder. Fawn is the perfect contour shade for me and although it isn't something I do on a regular basis, it is nice to have the perfect shade in my stash for when I want to do something different with my makeup.

The shades are so pigmented and blendable and don't leave any harsh lines whatsoever. I love how convenient the palette is so the shades can be removed and refilled with the single pans. It is very sleek and compact, making it perfect for travelling and definitely was worth the investment!

Now I'm pondering over the cream kit. Have you tired any of them? I hope you enjoyed reading,

It's Easter!

Today it is Easter Sunday and I plan on spending the entire day watching films and baking and enjoying what little sunshine we get. The clocks went forward last night so although we lost an hours sleep, the day is brighter for longer and that's one of my favourite things about this time of year.

Besides doing the obvious, eating Easter eggs, there are many ways you could spend Easter Sunday/ the Easter bank holiday.

1) Go on an Easter Egg hunt. Every single year my mum would hide eggs all around the house and the garden and each year my excitement levels were so high. Now we have bunny rabbits they are included in the fun and are even better at finding them than we are!
2) Bake, Now I'm not the best baker in the world, however even chocolate rice cripsy cakes with mini eggs aren't beyond my ability. I also want to make the infamous Creme Egg brownie, yum.
3) Go for a walk. Sometimes it's great to put away technology and go for a walk in the woods or down a country lane. Then you can eat more Easter eggs and a big dinner afterwards!
My other favourite things include having a pamper sesh and cooking up a big roast!

I hope you have a lovely day and have enjoyed reading,

Rimmel Do It Again

After hearing all of the review about Rimmel Lip liners I bought one in the shade East End Snob. I've heard people talk about this colour for ages and was really interested to See if it was something that would suit me.

It is a pinky nude that can be built up to quite a nice colour. In no way is it sheer and works great as both a liner and an all over cover. It glides on to to the lips really well and the longevity of it is fab. I would say that it can highlight dryness after a few hours of wear and it did begin to settle in any cracks in my lips, but it was nothing that couldn't be resolved easily and quickly. It is a lovely formula and despite its matte finish, it does feel very creamy upon application.

It is a retractable lip liner and is very soft therefore I can see myself going through this very fast and most likely purchasing another.

It is a lovely addition to my makeup collection and I've been enjoying wearing it these last couple of weeks. Have you tried anything from their lip range?

Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel.

This is a product I was desperate to lay my hands on and was so happy when I finally did. It has so many great qualities to it that I can understand why it is such a firm skincare favourite amongst beauty bloggers.

It is a gel in consistency, but once it warms up on the skin it turns into a milk-like consistency and is really easy to massage into the skin. It is definitely a product that needs warming up as otherwise it is a stiff gloop. It melts make up away so easily and quickly and is also really good at removing eye makeup which pleases me greatly. I find that a little goes a really long way and it is perfect for both the AM and PM cleanse. Personally I love to use it for as a second cleanse or as my cleanser first thing in the morning. It really leaves my face feeling refreshed and squeaky clean, yet moisturised.

I love how chic the packaging looks, however I, like many others, find it irritating how there is no indicator of how much product there is left. I also find it leaves my eyes slightly stung so I do avoid using it around my eyes as I know they are sensitive. I think that is an amazing cleanser, but for the price tag there definitely should be an indicator how the amount of cleanser remaining.
